Shayna

Shayna was about as sweet and mellow as a baby could be for her newborn session last week.  She was awake for much of our time together but unlike many newborns who are squirmy and unsettled after being awake for very long, Shayna was very zen and seemed to be just taking it all in. Her big brother Tyler was clearly smitten with her when it was his turn to hold her but some of my favorite shots were when we decided to drive his truck down the length of his mom’s body while she was snuggling with Shayna for some cozy shots of the two of them. It was a good reminder to us that when there is a toddler in the house, there will be no shortage of energy to balance out the sleepy and serene vibe that Shayna brings to the table.  Here are a few favorites!
