This summer was a gem, packed from end to end with more beach days than I’ve seen in years, beautiful weather and SO much ice cream. I had lots of fun summer sessions, many of which were at the beach and just as many cozy newborn sessions. But summer is always about slowing things down a bit and so while the camera never really got a break, I completely neglected to blog any sessions despite my best intentions. Meanwhile, fall is here and I’m determined to keep up with sharing from the many sessions that are on the schedule, from newborns to those mid fall sessions when we’ll hopefully all be surrounded by incredible foliage. My new plan is to revisit those glorious beach sessions that I didn’t blog about as we start to see shorter, chillier days, right about the time when we’ll all be longing for just a little bit more of that warm golden sun.

Kim and Rob had the winning bid on the session that I donated to the Horace Mann School fundraiser last spring and since they spend much of their summer on Plum Island, it was the perfect backdrop. Zoe and Colby have been fast friends since they met in Kindergarten last year and Ryan and Lilly are good buddies too so I get to see these guys in various settings all the time but it was a real treat to get to capture just the four of them in a place that has real meaning to them. Here are a few of my many favorites:
