Benjamin Graham

I first met this lovely family last summer when their daughter Hattie turned one and we documented the milestone with a session at Minuteman National Park.  Then earlier this year, Erin reached out to me to share that they were expecting a new baby in March,with the same due date as their first son Graham.  Graham was due on 3/13/14, was born on St Patrick’s Day and passed away later that year.  On 3/15/17,  Benjamin Graham arrived and sweet Hattie, now almost 2, became a big sister.  This was such a special newborn session and there was so much love at this session that I was shooting nearly nonstop the entire time I was there.  Hattie’s adoration for her baby brother was  and if she’d had her way, I think she would have held him for the whole session.

Some people wear their hearts on their sleeve and others wear their hearts all over their faces.  Erin and Topher are those kinds of people-the kinds of people that I could photograph all day because their love and every other layer of honest emotion is all right there for everyone to see–so much expression and so much joy for this new chapter that is beginning.
