Franklin, Fresh 48

Sweet little Franklin was born on Monday 12/17 and I met him early on Tuesday afternoon in Boston. These Fresh 48 sessions just melt my heart every time I have one and  I get positively giddy every time I walk into a hospital room to document something as amazing as a brand new life.  I photographed this family for the first time last year and again later in the fall of 2018 as they were awaiting the arrival of Leo’s baby brother and it was such a joy to see a family of three becoming a family of four right before my eyes.

Every parent can tell you that the changes that you see in your baby in just the first month are remarkable and I think that most would agree that the first week or two after having a baby is a bit of a blur.  I adore capturing such a beautiful and fleeting moment that families can revisit for many years to come and I love knowing that someday Franklin will see these and know just how very loved he was from the second that he arrived.
