        The Finch Family

This summer was a gem, packed from end to end with more beach days than I’ve seen in years, beautiful weather and SO much ice cream. I had lots of fun summer sessions, many of which were at the beach and just as many cozy newborn sessions.  But summer is always about slowing things down...

          Project 365: Summertime, Part 1

Ahhh, summertime. Suddenly we have all the time in the world and somehow, never enough time in the day. Here’s a little bit of what we’ve been up to in the end of June and first half of July.

            In memory of Dorothy, 1930-2015

My mother in law Dorothy had five children, thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. There are plenty of people with histories spanning far longer than my 16 years in the family and they could surely fill books with the memories that they shared with her and with kind words about the woman who she was....

The last month has been a bit of a blur and though I haven’t been good about posting daily Project 365 photos, I’m still taking them every day. Here’s a recap of what’s been going on from Day 150-Day 172.  Bring on the summer!!
