Charlotte

Anna reached out to me in the spring to set up a time for one year photos for Charlotte in May. A few days before our session, the forecast looked bleak but it turned out to a be gorgeous day. Also gorgeous? Miss Charlotte, who started grinning from the second that her mom opened the door for me in their South End home. I was glad that I already had my camera around my neck to start shooting but even if I’d missed that smile, there were many more to come. We mostly stayed close to their home since the South End is such a lovely backdrop in photographs but we did take a walk over to their community garden plot. Charlotte was happy to toddle through the warm soil in her bare feet with some assistance since she wasn’t walking just yet. Then as we made our way back to their home, we made sure to capture their street sign because no matter where Charlotte ends up going, it will be nice for her to see where her life started. Happy 1st birthday!
