After the crazy whirlwind that is the busy summer/fall season, I love that winter gives me an opportunity to look back through all of my sessions and to revisit some of the amazing moments that I had the opportunity to witnes. I always share sneak peeks after sessions but I love that posting them in the blog format give me the opportunity to put the photos in context and to share a little bit of what a some of a session’s gallery might look like when it all comes together.
I started photographing this family before the first little one was even born. I shot a maternity session with her mom and dad as they eagerly awaited her arrival and over the last five years, I’ve had the chance to continue photographing their family as each little one arrived. Isabel was born in the fall and like her sisters before her, she was an absolute delight to photograph. And can we talk about those beautiful braids on the big sisters? I just about fell over when I walked into their home and saw how ridiculously adorable they both looked that day and they were so sweet with their new baby sister that I could have photographed them all day.
Photographing newborns is always an experience that I treasure but it’s even more special when I’m with the family that I have been documenting throughout the course of their entire experience as parents. Here are a few of my favorites:
