The Cossettes

Lauren has been a friend for years now and I first photographed both of her sweet boys when they were tiny newborns.  Suddenly though, they are not so tiny anymore and with both of them growing and changing so much, Lauren reached out to schedule a time to get some updated family shots. The last session we had was on a beach so when Lauren said that this time she was thinking that maybe a farm would be nice, I was thrilled to meet them at one of my favorite local spots, Wright Locke Farm in Winchester.

Wright Locke Farm is the perfect spot to visit whether you are an adult looking for a serene place to take a quiet walk on some trails or whether you’ve got young kids who love goats and chickens and running around a beautiful and fun place that they can explore freely.  The weather was looking questionable a few days before our session but we lucked out and the sun decided to come out a few hours before we met. Actually, the sun did more than just come out–it shimmered and it dazzled us that night and it showed off just how incredible late day summer light can be and the combination of that warm and golden hue cast upon these four lovely people was simply magical.
