Thomas & James

I’ve photographed James a few times before and was so excited when his mom Lisa contacted me to say that they were expecting a new baby in the late spring. On the day of baby Thomas’ session, it was overcast and there were a few raindrops here and there. The lack of sun made for some tough lighting conditions inside the house where newborn sessions are often done but luckily, the drizzles subsided and the lighting outside was actually perfect. I loved how the green in the yard worked so nicely with the black of Lisa’s dress and against Thomas’ flawless pink complexion. James arrived home from Preschool shortly after we’d started and we made sure top get some solo shots of him too since he just celebrated turning 3.
